As a psychotherapeutic organisation with more than 40 years' experience, we take ethicss and duty of care to patients very seriously. Our therapists are members of, or accredited with, various professional bodies, for example, The Institute of Group Analysis (IGA), British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP); the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Each professional body has a code of ethics to which therapists agree to adhere.For your further reassurance, the Group Therapy Centre has its own Code of Ethical Practice and is fully insured against professional risks and public liability claims. This means you can have complete confidence in the professionalism of our therapists, and in the organisation itself.
